I hiked out to Marsh Valley to look for some petroglyphs rumored to be in the area. The early morning was cool and the trail, although rocky, in decent condition. I passed an older couple backing and a younger couple with a dog on the way in.
There were bunnies and lizards everywhere but no snakes to be seen. I took a sandy side canyon then hiked up to a ridge but didn't find the large boulder I was looking for. It started to warm up on the hike out.
I saw the backpackers again coming up Bull Pass on my way down. They mentioned staying in Marsh Valley and said they carried extra water just in case.

It was warm but I was out before 11:30am.
