After last fall's disasterous end to Graham hiking season, I really wasn't looking forward to returning to the Pinalenos. Kevin wanted me to go, though, so I tagged along. Beats roasting in Safford, anyways. We did a leisurely counter-clockwise hike, stopping at the Ash Creek overlook rock, and on Blair-Ash ridge. Lots of flies out today. The highlights of the hike were the snow drifts still laying in shady patches higher up. We also heard one of the newly reintroduced turkeys from atop the windless summit of Webb. It was a good day and a good hike.
