This was a very rushed trip before work in an attempt to catch more aspens in fall color. Turned out that the drive had more color than the hike! The aspens along 180 near the Nordic Center and along 418 were a lot closer to peak than along the Bear Jaw Trail. The magnificent stand at the top near the Waterline intersection were the farthest along, but I estimate they need another week to hit peak.
