2nd year in a row to visit Ash Creek. I invited some new people this time but did my own pace which allowed me to not be rushed for photos. Made it down to the falls this year before the rain (last time I had to wait the clouds out to see them). Snapped a few off trail shots and then the sky opened up. I loved it.
Began hiking back with the poncho and the rain let up soon after.
Not nearly as many mushrooms compared to last. There were so many different colors/kinds everywhere last year: http://hikearizona.com/photoset.php?ID=6167 . This time you had to really look for them.
Had an awesome time.
