I stayed around slide rock for a couple hours for the right light, hoping there would be a sunset (of course there wasn't). I was shocked though....no one at slide rock, even though the water was really cold, it's always packed. I've always thought that area was beautiful, and being there completely by myself for a few hours was awesome!
