With temps in the upper-20's and high winds, I'm sure gusting 45-50 mph this was one COLD hike. I planned on using 3 layers of clothing but thankfully I brought more because I used five layers. Even though I was bushwhacking up steep slopes through very dense brush (reminded me of the Manzanita on Mt Peeley) it didn't appear I was sweating at all because the wind kept me so cool.

The summit itself had so much brush around it it was hard to see much, but as I wandered around a bit the views were awesome. I crossed a saddle to a lower peak for more photos before heading back to the car. Good thing it was a steep downhill or I likely wouldn't have made it through the thick brush. I followed fresh deer tracks as much as possible but had to crawl on my stomach a number of times to get through some of the low brush so it was not fun. Eventually I reconnected with the route up and found some clear areas, well clear if you didn't count the knee-high cats-claw all over.

I'm glad this one is done!
