| no partners | | | Early morning hike from Adero TH. Started around 6am. Took Promenade to Lower Sonoran and then briefly on Sonoran to reach Mesquite Hollow. The Spur is about a .15 trail that loops off the Mesquite. Odd add on, but if you’re doing the Mesquite Hollow it’s easy and nice addition. Provides a nice overlook of the Mesquite. Great weather. Air quality was horrible in the valley, but didn’t look too bad on the Fountain Hills side. No wildlife, except birds which provided a nice background symphony. Had the trails to myself except for the last mile when I started encountering others. Saw a trail few heading in as I was finishing. Trails looked pretty good, so I’m not sure what they were going to work on. |
