Whew, this really kicked my butt today. My legs were sore from hiking the last few days and that climb up the closed road really wore me out. I made it to the top though and then back down the other side of the mountain. Weather was great!

Didn't do the whole hike. I underestimated the heat in the morning and doggy got a little overheated so we turned around right away.

Great day, sunny and cool. Also had a very cool breeze at different points of the trail. This was the first time I took my 7 month old australian/german shepherd mix out on a hike for longer than an hour at a time and she loved it.
