As I said previously, there are monuments and statues everywhere. These were on our was to San Anton.
TOP Monument to the pilgrim, located at the roundabout on National Highway 120, which passes through Villalbilla de Burgos. (Another path that leads to the town of Villalbilla de Burgos came from the Hospital de Rey, went through the Villargamar farm and along the N-120 road, until reaching Tardajos. It is possible that when it rained a lot and the path that runs through the plain was in very bad condition due to the flooding of the Arlanzón River and the mud that was made, the pilgrims chose this other path that was better for those cases of so much water.)
BOTTOM: Another pilgrim monument by the Puerta Romeros Hotel, located on the Camino de Santiago, next to the Hospital del Rey, a historic complex founded by Alfonso VIII in the 12th century to care for pilgrims, and which today is the headquarters of the University of Burgos.
