While we were visiting so many of the churches and buildings, it was hard to fully appreciate their incredible intricacies.

TOP (Entrance faces north) Collegiate Church of Santa Maria of Manzano dates back to the 16th century and presents Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque features. The church's plan is Latin cross-shaped and has three uneven naves as well as three polygonal apses leaning on the naves' top.

BOTTOM The most interesting part of the Gothic style is the western façade, with sculptures of an Annunciation from the 13th century.
The portal on the church's south façade is in Renaissance style. The base of the tower of the church is Romanesque, but in the eighteenth century it was renovated when, in 1746 the tower was added to the belfry.

At the end of the 15th century the vaults were reformed. In the 18th century the tower was raised, the chapel of the Virgen del Manzano built, and the sacristy and the choir were added, among other features.
