| This was new terrain for me, so I was excited. The trail was a bit hard to find in spots, but as long as we were going up we figured we were good to go. I got bitten by an evil agave, and it left part of it's tooth in my leg. Still hurts! Don't see anything, but feel a bump, and feel pain every time I move the leg a certain way or if anything rubs up against the area. Hey agave, you can have your tooth back, I'm done with it!
The waterfalls were very nice. The water was a balmy 50 something degrees. I offered Bob $2 to jump in, but he said his rate was $5. Hustler!
We had great views of Mazzie Peak from the two 7500ers we bagged while up there. On our way back down, we finally ran into the backpackers. It was nice to meet everyone and see some people I haven't seen in years. Thanks for letting me tag along guys, it was fun!
I can't seem to get any of my electronics working at the moment, so I'm stealing Bob's stats until mine come up (if they do!) And I'll post a photoset. |
