| partners | | Me and my fellow AZTer's decided to get our money's worth on another long drive and do two passages on one trip.Nick was nice enough to join us again and help with the shuttle. He say's he is just doing it to help but I swear it looks like he is having a good time .We have done quite a few passages that aren't so friendly to bike riders so it's only fair that these two were excellent for them. The trail was in great shape and most of the hills very mild.Las Cienegas was pretty dry except for Cienega Creek which was a really nice surprise and an Idea spot for our lunch break. The Rincon Valley passage had a lot more vegatation and nice views(there was even a castle) but almost no shade like the Las Cienegas passage.A lot more scenic in my opinion and we found a little shade to take a break while Joe talked to the animals. He sings, talks to the animals,etc..What can't he do?Joe interrupted a Diamondback at dinner time.We took one more nice break, changed out our socks(ahhh, good idea Nick)and checked out Hope Camp. From there Joe and Dave kicked it in overdrive while the rest of us cruised on in.Another great adventure on the AZT and the company was outstanding as always. Thanks to all of you for making it happen! |
