| partners | | Johnlp and I hit the trailhead early and set out to do the Taylor Cabin Hike. Pretty much in my mind all Sedona hikes can't be bad and this one didn't disappoint. It did a lot of up and down the whole way. The scenery was of course amazing.
This one provided a great workout with its distance and what a cool destination! The cabin is small and full of fun stuff left by other visitors. We saw "Beenie Weenies", "Off" bug spray, and a bunch of other items left there by previous hikers. It is cool to read about the history of the place and then to hike to it.
One small note when you get close to the cabin and you see the trail markers be sure and go to the right not the left. The left through the gate says Taylor Trail but the Cabin is just below where you are at. The way out went a little faster than the way in which surprised me. I Highly Recommend this one if you are up for the distance! |
