| no partners | | I hiked in Bluff Spring Trail and back Dutchman with a few side trips mixed in.
The first side trip was a return to the Williams camp and then to the Williams mine. I heard the mine was filled in and I guess it is but if you fell (15 feet)down the shaft I doubt you could climb out. I cut across to the next ravine to explore but found nothing of interest. The next side trip was up the Ely-Anderson trail to the hill above Hidden Valley. It started to hail at this point so I started back down. Once back to Bluff Spring trail the hail/rain stopped so I decided to take the Dutchman trail back. My last detour was a side trail that parallels Barks Canyon. The rain started again so I decided head back. Nice day if you don't mind getting a little wet. |
