| no partners | | I've been to this area twice this season, and finally remembered to write a triplog. Took the Dutchman's Trail to Coffee Flats and then went on a wee cross country trip. Was able to see both Weaver's & Miner's Needle in one view. Took some pictures and will be back there next fall to take some more. On the way out we took the Old Road from the Coffee Flat trail and followed the fence line till we found the trail from the Quarter Circle Ranch, then headed North till we found the Dutchman's trail. Saw my first Giant Desert Centipede, what a big bug.
Weather was warm but not all that unpleasant, looking forward to another hike in this area again. |
