| partners | | | Denny wasn't early for the first time. I slept under the stars last night and saw lots of activity in the sky. It was a lot warmer then 2 weeks ago. Denny arrived on time and we headed for the Humphrey's saddle and down to the saddle before 11,673 which was our first objective. Next the Dennnynator crushed Freemont and then Doyle. BTW O'Doyles Rule. The views from 11,673 were pretty good. I think Freemont were pretty awesome but the best were from Doyle. The trip down Freemont wasn't as bad as I had heard. There was a little scree but not to much. I needed to eat before we got to Doyle and I devoured my chicken breast and snacks. I now felt better. Feeling better lasted for about another 1 and a half hours and then I felt sick and totally yucky. Going down Humphreys I started feeling better and we decided we'd go to the bomber crash site. I was slow going again but we made it but didn't spend a lot of time there. On the hike down, Denny Bruced... but he recovered pretty quick and there was no blood shed. It was good to hike with The Dennynator again. |
