| no partners | | I heard about this place three years ago during my last visit to Serbia and once I saw the pictures it went on the top of my "to do" list. I took 251 pictures and I could have easily posted another 20 or 30.
The hike is mainly a 0.9 mile well built braided pathway with plenty of shade and a stream that parallel and crosses at some points. Then you get the to payoff. Basically a smaller version of Bryce Canyon in Utah. The platforms are wooden and not all that maintained. Definitely not your standard issue USNPS stuff. I was able to get around some of that and right under a few of the spires for some nices pics. Got the standard souvenirs, a refridgerator magnet and sweet bottle to store my father-in-law's rakija in once I smuggle 20+ liters back home.
Afterwards, we hit a restaurant about a mile down the road called Dva Ambara. We had most awesome lunch of roasted lamb and potatoes, goulash type of beef stew, salad and roasted peppers marinated with vinegar, oil and garlic. Got a new Jelen Pivo glass to add to my beer glass collection. |
