I think the spring itself is in some kind of protected area, but the restaurant is within walking distance. In fact, you have to almost walk through the restaurant area to get to the waterfall.
We ate lunch right over the stream from the waterfall, which was nice and cool. We ordered two mixed meat platters since they told us one would feed 3 people and there were 8 of us. We're still eating leftovers a day later. These things were HUGE!!
Afterwards, we took a walk up to the spring, which was about a half a kilometer from where we ate, giving us a change to walk off some of what we gorged on.
Afterwards in Nis, we arrived to catch a little bit of rain, giving me a chance to see my first Serbian rainbow. Also caught a nice shot of the sunset through the clouds.
This should be the last Serbia triplog until our next trip in two or three years. |
