| no partners | | i was going to be headed out of town on monday, so i got away to go camping. with the severe thunderstorms in the forecast, i was sure i'd be alone out there, but perhaps since the fire restrictions had lifted, it was time again for everyone else to go camping as well. i arrived at sycamore campground to find all of the designated spots taken. without a plan b in mind, i made my own spot. i brought my camp table just for this eventuality. i started to put up the ez-up and i think it was then that i dashed all hopes for rain. it was its first time out of the bag! i really wanted rain, too.
for the hike on sunday, i just went up mormon canyon to the saddle, then back down. i brought my new go-lite umbrella, and, go figure, no rain. but so many flowers!  |
