The last stretch from Moqui Campground to Highway 87 had a special meaning to me, as it had been the first bit of the AZT I had ever hiked on, back in June of 1997. After our perfect hike, we picked up Nick's truck then drove south to the Beeline Cafe in Payson for a post hike dinner. 'Twas a fine adventure!
