We headed up the Reavis Trail and connected to the Reavis Falls Trail. The area received a fair amount of snow the night before. It made for some very enjoyable hiking!
We continued hiking and reached the saddle and then descended down the trail. We were treated to some light flurries of the white stuff. Hiking in snow is magical in Az! It's such a treat! After some time we arrived at the creek bed which had a solid flow. From there we worked our way up the creek and took a variety of pics. Once again Rachel took off stopping every so briefly for a photo. I keep telling her we need to slow down and enjoy these hikes more.
The Falls finally come into view and we can tell their really flowing! We took a bunch of pics from different angles and then enjoyed our lunch. From there we made the return which flew by. It felt like we were back at the jeep in no time. This was a great day and great company. I think we hit these falls on the perfect day. |
