| no partners | | I spent Christmas at Renee's house in Maricopa and we decided to hike Table Top the next day. A logical choice since it was nearby. I had been out to the area before, but this was my first time to hike it. I found the low rock walls near the top interesting. After the trail ends, you more or less meander your way across a slight depression to the real peak to the north. Not like it's well defined though. Other peaks in the area I have been to are Antelope, and further west Squaw Tits (Sand Tank Mountains). I guess the thing that is cool about Squaw Tits is the two 55 gallon drums on top of the twin peaks. They are (were) painted pink to entertain the flyboys on the bombing range. I can't find my photo sets for those other hikes, but did them in 2001 or 2002. |
