| partners | | Started out to meet Niko, my coworker Lydell begged me to take him hiking so he came along, two British tourists, Chris and Matt, whom I met in my store, caught up with us on the trail just before 2 mile corner which is where we met Niko...
After speaking with a Ranger friend I pretty much felt like a fool for never having seen the 2 mile pictographs before  found em!!
Niko turned back, lydell the brits and I headed on to Plateau picking up another tourist along the way, Steve from CT, we met Eston, another Ranger around IG and we all poked around in Garden Creek on a search for the "laughing frogs"
The Brits were touched to their soul by the Canyon views from the point and I felt like 9L as I was able to answer all their landmark questions and such.We also spotted FOUR California Condors, they were soaring and circling above the Tonto to the East of Plateau Point!! Whoo!
We left Plateau just before sunset and right after IG my buddy Joe caught up with us.
The 6 of us headed to the rim in anything but silence then ended up at BA lounge to celebrate our new found friends from afar!  |
