| no partners | | Got out of work had to head up to my office in Scottsdale so I gave a friend a call and decided to meet up and get a quick one in up at Spur Cross. We started from the lot headed into the Preserve followed the wash up to the Spur Cross trail and then took that to the parking lot. As we hiked up the wash we could hear thunder rolling in the distance and got buzzed by a Owl but no pics I could not get the camera out fast enough. When we made it to Spur Cross the clouds were getting darker and it began to rain about a half mile from the car right after we crossed the creek we ran into a Tortoise on the trail. I snapped a few pics. By the time we arrived at the cars it was coming down hard. It was a nice hike and we had the park to ourselves did not see a single other soul. |
