| no partners | | This is an excellent shakedown trip for my kid's (boy 14, girl 11) first multiday pack trip. The trail is well marked providing an opportunity for my son and daughter to establish their orientation skills identifying rock cairnes trail markers.
We based camped at the first established camp site on the trail as it approached the creek. from there we took the next two days to hike down stream to the lake and up stream several miles to fish the deep pools and enjoy the time together.
We were suprised at the amount of traffic in the caynon, but all in all a very pleasant time. |
