| no partners | | | OK, no long story for this one. Showed up Saturday morning and the last 1.7 miles of this road were really rough, worse than last time. Deep muddy puddles made me park half way in and hike the rest. Saturday started off nice but only caught one fish, small brown and no I didn't have my camera on me, left it at camp. Woke up Sunday to massive winds, on and off rain, 52 degrees, then hail, then even stronger winds. The wind and rain did not subside during the short hike out either. Battling a nasty cold this week because of it I think. maybe allergy induced or something. The wind almost blew me off the trail on the way out hiking up the steep part... Oh well, I did find a nice campsite down stream from the big meadow. And I saw a nice rainbow too. This calls for a re-do in the spring. |
