It was trying it's hardest to Rain, but after a bit, it was time for a Short Hike...Randy had suggested the Nature Trail from the Madera Canyon Picnic Area to the Proctor Road Lookout and I was all for it...Even though this was my first time in the Santa Ritas, this Trail is well documented in Birding Circles, and I figured with just a bit of mileage and the rest of the Day ahead, it would be a Photofest...And it was...
Very easy Trail, probably not one to do if you're looking for any kind of a Workout, but that's not really it's intent anyway...It's a "Strolling" Trail, and yep, we pretty much strolled it, when we weren't actually completely stopped...
Talk about LUSH! Wow!!! It was amazing! Full of Blooms, Butterflies, Bugs and Birds! Very Cool!!! Notice how neither one of us put our Hiking Time down... It was a really nice Relaxing Hike....I'll just let a few pictures tell the rest of the Story...Randy put up a really nice Photoset too...Between the two, it pretty much says it all...
Thanks for showing me this Randy!!! |
