Set up my camp and waited for Pam to show up from Phoenix. She got there a bit later than I expected, and we decided to just chill that day. It was her first time to the Santa Rita Mountains, so for a starter, we explored the Nature Trail from the parking area across from the turnoff to the campground down to Proctor Road and the observation area. We did the short side trip to a small waterfall nearby, though the water flow was just a trickle (unlike last year with Cindy).
