| no partners | | We had no idea what to expect from this trail, and certainly were not disappointed. Temperatures were lovely, winding among the rock formations was pleasant, and we saw 6 mule deer and 2 cottontails. Didn't see a single soul on trail, which seems typical for this out-of-the-way park. The stone cabin at the end of the trail was closed, but we poked around a little, including checking out the intact root cellar.
Walked back along the road, which was OK, but I would go back on the trail next time. |
