Curious if you could use this route to access Boulder Canyon, I set off down the wash.
Boulder Canyon was the original planned location for the dam which was later placed in Black Canyon to create Lake Mead.

I concluded that access is possible (or at least a nice hike up Guardian Peak), but I would have needed a longer day to complete the entire trip. This is a fascinating valley, and you are constantly side-tracked to check out interesting things along the way, which makes for slow going ;) . Today, my new find was a concentration of petrified wood - very colorful.

Saw zero people as usual.
