| no partners | | This is one of the best "workout hikes" in the area near where I'm staying. I managed to pick a day of mist and drizzle. Trail was very muddy, so I ended up with mud wings on my boots, and a big clump underneath my boots! Trying out the boots to check for foot pain going downhill, trying out lacing system. Glad I wore them because my little hiking shoes would have been a real mess.
Despite the weather, Californians will get out and hike. I saw a few other people. The top of the mountain was in the clouds, so not much of a view. |
