It certainly didn't hurt that my Friend lived within 4 Miles of Cochise Stronghold and years ago working that Road Project I had made a Mental Note to check that place out...I could definitely see the Allure to this place, wow!
After checking out the Campground, I backtracked down 191 to 181 and instead of heading back up to Turkey Creek, I went north with the thought of seeing the Dos Cabezas Range...I can see why Letty loves this area so much, it looks very intriguing....
Once I got to Willcox, I took the Fort Grant Road all the way past Fort Grant and up through Stockton Pass before hitting 191 again and heading into Roper Lake for the Evening.
It was nice to see some of these areas and I know that I will return and get some Hiking in...Lots of Destinations opening up in SE AZ for me! |
