Met Brittain at Pipe Creek Vista, then I drove us down to Grandview Point. We hiked down to a nice outcrop down in the Coconino Sandstone where we had a nice sunset. Hiked back up the steep switchbacks in the twilight back to a deserted Grandview Point. It's so nice every once in a while to experience the Canyon without the crowds I'm so used to having around when I'm giving tours. Overall a wonderful outing.
