but sadly it didn't rain just sprinkles. When I got to the section of the trail that branches off to the Maricopa trail I decided to change things up and keep going straight. Shortly after leaving the park the trail is intersected by several jeep trails but the trail is well marked. I didn't go very far but what I did see was very cool. I will have to do this whole trail from Cave creek to Spur cross
