Nice shiny, grippy, cool and super light I couldn't wait. They did awesome for the first two miles. They stayed very cool but I found out where they shaved all the weight from... The sole 
I was truckin along when BANG! WOW it must be a land mine or police stop sticks!!!... Nope it was a cholla thorn 
so I took my shoe off, got my multi-tool out and got to work. It wasn't a mile later when it happened again 
this time I had to break the thorn off in my foot to get my shoe off but all's well. These shoes have now become my workout shoes 
and it's getting warm so only one other person out there at 3pm. For the second time there hasn't been anyone at the pay station so I'm guessing that there aren't many people all day
