| no partners | | Was in Hagerstown, MD, over the weekend visiting my son and grandaughter for Easter. On flight out there, I barely coughed -- 35,000 feet above pollen? -- but had a hard time breathing once on the ground there. Worse yet, I somehow hurt my back before leaving, so that every time I coughed -- and it was hundreds of times a day -- it felt like I was being knifed in the back.
Anyway, barely coughed on the flight back, and have been mostly okay lung-wise since my return. I figure it has heated up enough here that pollen is not such an issue, whereas out East they are just reaching where we were a month ago.
Took a risk on going out this morning, but had as little problem breathing outdoors, as in (where I have sheltered the last two days). Found dozens and dozens of golf balls *well* off the driving range ( https://www.youtube.com/embed/6kbyz8GuK4 ... autoplay=1 ).
Brittlebush stems and leaves, never mind flowers, are brown and ... well ... brittle. Ocotillo flowers are shriveled up as well. Looks like flower season is over. |
