This was a good hike with Lee, Karl, and Blanco. I was going to bring Lily but the 40% chance of thunderstorms made me decide not to-- of course, it never ended up raining on us.

We parked on 145 where the Barbershop trail crosses and headed to Dane Canyon first. Its pretty easy going and scenic. Karl and Lee hadn't been to Dane Cabin before so once we got closer we decided to bushwack out of the canyon and head up to the U-Bar. We made it to the cabin and stopped for lunch.

We headed back down the U-bar, crossed Dane Canyon, and headed over to Barbershop Canyon. Barbershop has a lot more water and as we found out-- a lot more elk. As nice as the day was, I think we were all ready to be done and we finally finished. This was Lee's first Mogollon hike so I think he was especially tired after popping his rim cherry
