| partners | | JJ said he had an urge to do Ajo Peak so I jumped at the chance. It's in the 100 hikes book and I've been wanting to do it. This is the weekend Laurel was out of town so Hardy said he would join us . He also said it's to hot so we will do a different hike . Oh well, Ajo another time.... .
The drive in was an adventure and would be a no-go for the flying Focus. The fall colors were just starting but I like the tree canopy either way. The climb was a climb but shooting the bull with the boys eases the pain . Great views and some cool rock formations add to this "Fall color hike". Throw in a summit and it makes for a pretty nice hike. JJ suggested we do the Sunset Loop Drive on the way home. that was a good call also. Top it off with some good food in Globe and I'd say this trip was a winner. Thanks to JJ for driving and Bruce for dinner. Like HAZ |
