The parking lot upon arrival was full, to my surprise but nevertheless it was still a fun experience. We made good time and even ran into a few friends. Unfortunately I managed to snap the top off of one of my poles on the way down. So a long journey to REI occurred afterwards. A journey of which felt longer than this hike did.
