| no partners | | I was feeling ambitious and decided to figure out where the north end of Half Moon 288 really goes. Armed with the six gps tracks already on HAZ, satellite photos on my phone, a 1000 foot roll of neon ribbon, work gloves, and loppers, I headed out in search for what was once there.
Needless to say, the Mazzies win again , but I put up a good fight and landed some pretty good shots myself. If I motivate for another day out there, I'll be able to have it in good enough condition that you could follow it without body armor or a GPS . For now the route is clearly marked, but there are still some sections where getting from one marker to the next is still a fight, despite only being 30 feet away.
Nice day out there. A little warm in the sun. I should have carried more than 1 liter of water with me. ](https://hikearizona.com/dex2/images/smilies/eusa_wall.gif) |
