Went for a short walk in the desert behind our condo complex in the late afternoon. Not much action out there today - just a Gila Woodpecker poking at a hole in a Saguaro. A formation of about 8 airplanes flew by early in the walk but flew into the sun before I could get a picture. Four came back later - at least two of the four looked like WWII era planes. The four planes each had a different insignia - looked like British, Nazi Germany, Russia and USA. The desert was very green from the recent rains but not much in the way of wild flowers.
