Made a short side trip in to the Oak Flat area to look around, then stopped for Mexican food and beer at the always welcoming and reliable Los Hermanos. 
From there I headed through Florence and down the Pinal Pioneer Parkway to Park Link Drive. This would get me back to I-10 near Red Rock for the final stretch home. Daylight was just about gone by then, but got some nice views of Picacho and Newman (where I had been the week before).
