Went out late this morning wandering around the Superstition foothills off First Water Road in search of Giant Saguaro's that might be in the blooming stage. Turns out I'm still a bit early, only found some budding Saguaro and a few blooming but they're way up on the top.

Got to remember though....... this is snake season so you've got to look down where you're about to place your foot, especially if you're not on a trail. Good thing I remembered this rule in time as I almost stepped on a Rattler napping under a small bush and it's rattle was under its body so.....no rattle warning.

Guess I'll go home and watch some NASCAR.
