| no partners | | | been thinking of doing this for a while, finally did. Not smartest time of year - concerned about coming face to face with snake in tight areas. Worst was a moist almost riparian area just below south side of the Thumb - the only way through was all overgrown. I was convinced there would be a bunch of snakes waiting for me in there! But did not see any on entire hike. Trail hard to find in several spots - as evidenced by my route compared to the desired track. |
