| no partners | | A morning walk through a known Hohokam village then across the river to look for cultural signs on the other side. I didn't see much in the "village"....just some pottery, probably too much recent human and river encroachment. On the other side I was also disappointed though I did stumble upon a "hidden" cave/shelter and a few scattered sherds.
Nice walking though on the ridges and washes. Plenty of wild horse "sign" in the area and I heard them but didn't see them. Following horse game trails is way better than javalina trails (less ducking). Nice to be able to float in the river on a hot day. |
