| no partners | | | Generally when my wife and I hike we have a destination in mind. This day though we committed our day to wander aimlessly the many drainages and small rock outcroppings of the Maricopa Mountains. After about 4 miles and out in the middle of nowhere something red caught my eye and it appeared to be about 6' off the ground....hmmmm. Well it turned out to be a tee flag, but more interestingly was a genuine Fredericks Of Hollywood corset below it. No doubt we've seen many odd things through the years out in the wilds, although they tend to be by roads or urban areas. Also this area we are use to seeing backpacks, carpet booties and odd food stuff of the drug traffic....but this? I usually bring back trash I find, but this I decided to leave in situ. Spending a couple more hours wandering the desert with a golf flag and a corset was not appealing to me. I'm sure there are a couple of members here, who shall remain nameless, who would enjoy doing this. I have my standards to uphold......chortle ahem.. |
