| partners | | | Sun came out, didn't look it would stay out very long so I say to the Missus and Rebel, let's go check out Mesa's newest Park. I will say, they have done a nice job putting this together. You can find all the info at the following link. mesaaz.gov/things-t ... park . Park is located SW corner of Ellsworth and McKellips St, next to Zaharis Elementary School. We decided to take the longest trail, which is 1/2 mile in length. This trail is paved the whole route and has different educational signs explaining wildlife and desert plants. For someone that cannot get out and walk a trail because of the unevenness, or rocks, this gives them a nice chance to get out, and also those in wheelchairs or walkers. Nice place for the kids to play and family picnics. One down side if any we could not see any Public restrooms, if your planning an afternoon or evening this might create a issue. I'll have to check this out with Parks Dep't |
