| partners | | Best way to describe yesterday would be that I had an off day! 
Should have went with my initial planned route and gut instinct of starting the hike from Spring Creek and the proceeding upstream to the gorge.
I still had a great day but the fact that I did not feel satisfied in terms of what I really wanted to see and photograph is I guess what's bugging me.
Nonetheless my friend Daniela and I had a nice afternoon guzzling beers and soaking up the sun while splashing around the many pools inside the gorge. I've always avoided this place beacause of its popularity but yesterday we had it all to ourselves besides the group we ran into while we were exiting the canyon.
We debated proceeding downstream and returning to the vehicle that way since my main goal was to see and photograph the 35' foot waterfall but my indecisiveness and unfamiliarity with the canyon came to the conclusion of heading out the easy way. As Arnold said "I'll
be back!" I have some unfinished business at the CC Gorge! |
