What a fun group. We all met up in Mesa and rode with Karl and Kathy to the trailhead. Hit the trail around 6:30am. Always like the Tall stand of Manzanita on Telephone. The color was hit and miss but still quite enjoyable. Lots of leaf covered trail sections which I always enjoy. Joe insisted on hitting both peaks and we decided to only do 2X today. That gave us time for both peaks and some nice breaks. Karl talks in his sleep

. We saw about five deer. No Bear but we did see a Toddak. Nice to see a HAZ Legend! Only other hiker all day! No pic of the Toddak so you probably wont believe me

. The conversation on this one was as colorful as the hike and quite entertaining! Thanks to Karl for driving and great hiking with all of you :y:
