Return to Hardscrabble Mesa to walk another mesa-top drainage looking for signs of the ancients.

I was guaranteed at least some success because I'd crossed this creek before and happened upon a nice spot with lots of petroglyphs. So walking the length of it was bound to be fun.

Turned out that most of today's findings were in the vicinity of that known spot - but there were enough new things to make it interesting.

The creek walking was rocky, more true rock hopping than walking, and with more biggish drops than expected. Usually the drops are a good place for semi-permanent water but there was little water today and hardly any decorations on these walls.

One plus: I noticed when I got home, no catclaw scratches! First time that's happened in a while.
